Clive
This picturesque village huddles around Clive Hall on the wooded slopes of Grinshill. The Hall is the birthplace of
William Wycherley, the famous Restoration dramatist. The Church is unusual for
Shropshire in having a tall tower and spire, it was rebuilt in 1885-94 from an earlier
12th century church.
