Gobowen
Gobowen is a small village situated in the north of Shropshire. For a small village it is well served by three churches,Anglican, Methodist and United Reformed.
The name 'Gobowen' is originally believed to have come from the the words 'Gob' meaning a pillow and 'Owen' which is a reference to Owain Glyndwr a warlord who is said to have rested at the village.
Nearby are tourist attractions like Park hall Countryside experience and Chirk Castle.
