Stanton upon Hine Heath

This small north Shropshire village is sometimes refered to simply as 'Stanton'. It is located on the A53 between Shawbury and Hodnet near the village of Moreton Corbet.

Running through the village is the River Roden.

Within the graveyard of St Andrew's church lies the body of Barbara Comyns Carr (1907-1992), a famous author who died in the village.
