Woore
Woore is a fairly large village having a white plaster church dating back to 1838. The church bell has not rung since the late 1980s and the bells have now been replaced by a timed recording.
The name Woore means "boundary" in ancient celtic, which fits nicely with the fact that it is on the boundary of Cheshire and Staffordshire. It lies in the corner of the county on the old London to Chester road.
Woore is around 7 miles from Market Drayton (depending which route you take).
