On Tuesday 15 July staff at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford received three iconic First World War aircraft, which will form the centre of a new First World War Exhibition. The Bristol M1c, the Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter and the Sopwith Pup are due to go on display within the Museum's War Planes Hangar in December 2014.

The Dorothy Clive Garden is to host an open-air production of 'Robin Hood' on Tuesday 5th August 2014 performed by the touring theatre company Illyria. This fast moving, easy to follow play, will be performed at 6pm on the tearoom lawn in a beautiful 12 acre garden setting and is aimed at children and families.

Hands on cooking workshops, inspiring the next generation of little chefs and a flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota are top of the menu for visitors at the Cosford Food Festival later this month.

A glittering Centenary Charity Ball will be held at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford on Saturday 30 August to commemorate the First World War and raise much needed funds for the RAF Benevolent Fund and the RAF Museum.

The British Ironwork Centre, based in Oswestry, had been approached by the National Motorcycle Museum in Bickenhill, Solihull, to loan its stunning classic motorcycle sculpture as an exhibit to feature in the "pop-up art gallery" which forms part of the Museum's 30th anniversary celebrations.
