Summer Fun For Families

This summer holiday, the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford has created a range of new and exciting interactive ‘August Activities’ that will get families working together and having fun. Each week throughout August will have an exciting activity dedicated to it. These creative and fun workshops will run from 1st to 31st August and all materials for these hands-on sessions will be provided by the Museum. Workshops will run from 11.00am-12.30pm and 2.00pm-3.30pm.

The Dorothy Clive Garden is hosting ‘A Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ for both children and adults on Saturday 4th August 2012. The special event will start at 11am and continue until 5pm and all children are admitted for free. ALL accompanying adults wearing a hat will also be admitted for FREE.

Medieval Weekend at Hawkstone Historic Park and Follies

Ironbridge Gorge Museums join the London 2012 Festival - VIP Opening

For the past 15 years Roger Whitehouse has been as important – and fascinating – a part of Hawkstone Park as the historic 18th century Follies. But last weekend, Follies manager Roger finished his final shift at this unique tourist attraction as he returned to his new home in Wem to begin his retirement.
