Free, fun and friendly - enjoy Oswestry Food Festival Weekend in July
On July 15th and 16th, the small market town of Oswestry on the borders of Shropshire and Wales opens its streets to the finest local food producers of this borderland country – and it’s free! Enjoy two days of tasting and enjoying the finest local produce as you wander the streets of our market town. Oswestry is renowned for its café culture so you will never be far from a welcoming coffee shop if you need a cuppa after using all that energy wandering round the stalls.

Summer weekends are just the time to enjoy a pint or two too and Cambrian Heritage Railways host their beer festival over both days of the Food festival. Don’t miss local brews from Stonehouse Brewery – you can visit the brewery too if you have time.

It isn’t just about the food though. Bring the family on Saturday and visit Cae Glas Park where local football team, TNS host a family fun day. Sunday in the Park is more chilled out with Reggae in the Park in the Victorian Band Stand so just the place for a picnic enjoying all the lovely flavours you bought at the Food Festival.

You could drive down to The British Ironwork Centre too- their heavy metal sculpture park is always fascinating and on Saturday they host their annual transport rally with up to 500 vehicles dotted amongst the heavy metal exhibits.

What a weekend! Don’t miss the Oswestry Food and Drink Festival on July 15th and 16th, you will be very welcome.
